does anyone know how to hack xbox savegames?

Haven't ever seen anything on this myself. I know they use to hack Dreamcast saves in the hex code though. Is your xbox modded? If so why not just use a trainer for whatever it is you want to be able to do?

because trainers, unfortunately, cannot actually edit the values just freeze them, or am i wrong? (plz tell me i am wrong)

what are you trying to do? create an exploit or hack a gamesave for a crap load of money in a game?

If your trying to cheat on games you can do this for say... a bunch of money

1. take a starter game save and back it up to your computer
2. play that game save and don't do anything, but get some money
3. now the only difference between the saves should be the amount of money.
4. get hexcmp.exe (a hex comparison tool)
5. compare the two saves, and figure out what has to be changed in order for the money to go up. (check bool and hex)


Not sure, but you might need to resign/hash your gamesaves for them to work afterwords. I've done this with xbox 360 gamesaves, it should work with original xbox games too.

hey, yes it is possable, i think i know how to do it but im not a master on this suject. you need a microsoft data exchange kit, ebay it. Xport360 or xplorer360 but xport 360 works best. a finished save game from any profile and a save game resigner, open resigner and load your own game save, copy device code and profile id, and what ever is there. open the finished save game and paste all your codes into the same sections there.(You will undestand when you try) than put your finished game save back into the right folder or where you got it from and that should work. If you want to hack money on a game, Eg gta4, load the save game in a save game tool, search gta money hacking into youtube and google and it should have software and tut. modify money with software and load save game back to orignial folder. hope that helps.
I hacked my gta4 when i was having a little trouble with it glitching and game save problems so i tosed on some extra cash for me and it worked a charm.

thanks, and i might try this, but does anyone know of a program that can do all of this? also, i have a chipped xbox, and this means i have FTP, do i still need the microsoft data exchange kit?

it seems as though u have done this before... would you mind putting together a walkthrough of some sort? (preferably with pics included, but if without, could you fix up your grammer???

You were looking for xbox? im sorry, this is a xbox360 forum so i asumed it was for xbox360. You cant hack game saves for xbox original unless you have modded xbox or can remove hard drive, but even than im not sure if you can, Correct me if im wrong but i dont know sorry.

a. this is NOT an xbox360 forum, it is an xbox 1 forum, and i do have a chipped xbox, so i have no problem getting data off of it.

Sorry your right this is a xbox forum, i clicked wrong thread when i did a search. im sure you could find some infomation onf youtube about xbox 1 game saving anyway
