eBay Scam: Project Natal for $3000

MaxConsole reader Stanley sends us word of a rather poor eBay scammer. The scammer in question is trying to offer a Project Natal Xbox 360 with a buy it now price of $3000. Obviously a load of sh*t, but we don't think anyone would be silly enough to fall for it, or would they?

This auction is to give you the rights to one of the Natal's when it comes out. When you bid and win you will get a lettle in the mail from me telling you all the details. You will get a Natal when it comes out I give you my word.

Would you really call it a scam? It clearly states this at the top of the description, so you are right on one thing, i don't think ANYBODY could be dumb enough to actually buy this for that price.

LOL. Unfortunately its not really a scam. He is saying you will get one WHEN IT COMES OUT. Hes just waiting for some idiot who doesn't read the listing properly to think he will get one now. Its obvious the guy is desperate for money. Everything in the listing is copied and pasted from Wikipedia. To be honest i don't feel sorry for the idiot who bids on this. He is actually pretty smart if you ask me. Yes it does take advantage of people (who are stupid) , and that part is sad.

you are not allowed to sell what you dont have on ebay.if you read the selling rules you will see that what you auction has to be available to the buyer.some try to bend it and often get away with it but,some people dont,especialy when its to the tune of $3,000.

See... This site was great when users were allowed to submit news. the site daily had many good stories.
Then, something happened to where zeus's account either changed hands or became a multi user account... when Malloc and Zeus became the same person.

Now, Whoever zeus is at the time, cant even find time to do their normal copy and past job from Kotaku until 2 weeks later then its all news that we read about the week before somewhere else.

The forums here are still somewhat alive, but With zeus begging for advertisers and the ones he does have being a joke.... I dont really see this site carrying on through the end of the year if something is not done.
