The CEO of THQ has revealed that the developer has had Project Natal kits for around six weeks. However, the company has only had discussions over the PS3 wand kits and don't have any of the latter in their hands.

In an interview with G4’s The Feed, THQ CEO Brian Farrell said the company had had Microsoft Xbox 360 Project Natal kits “for some time… four, six weeks, however long they’ve been available.”

Farrell said that THQ had only had “discussions” with Sony over its PS3 wand kits and “don’t have any of the actual, hands-on dev kits yet.”

Sounds like the sixaxis, nobody in the industry has heard about it until the E3 announcement. That's how you keep things a quiet secret, natal had been subject to rumor for over a year some developers even admitted to having development gear more MS's new motion sensor.

although in sony's defense nintendo was the same way with the wii motion plus when they announced it last year at E3 surprising even the 3rd party devs. it was suppose to come out last xmas but I think because so many 3rd parties were upset about it they decided to delay it by a year so that 3rd parties games would be available and not just nintendo titles.

Can THQ make anything with Natal though? Use it with Smackdown vs Raw? Oh ****?
