hello every1 , i own modded wii ver 4.0j all what i want is to change the menu language 2 english and preserve the other stuff like the game region


from reading aroud , i realized that i am suppose 2 downgrade my wii to 3.2j first and to make matter worse anyregion changer would not allow me 2 do so cuz my ver is 4 !! so i need help to downgrade ver 4 , by the way i dont know whether there any installed cios or not cuz i bought the wii from ebay



clues :
i am new to the wii hacking stuff and need lil help with cios in case i have 2 install them
my wii modded with mario galaxy working fine
installed homebrew channel

There are guides around, however I recommend you first install the homebrew channel and hackmii (then do a backup) using bannerbomb.

finally i am on 3.2j thanks 2 :

now need 2 change the menu language to english 2.3u ,

i need step-step guide on how 2 use anyregion changer without changing the moddchip ability to play my back ups which r japanese (most of them ), because from reading around i heard ppl saying that their wiiz cannot play any wii games even originals after changing their wii region and language !!

this what i did and it worked :
using anyregion changer by tona , changed the console area and language and game region to usa
and of course changed system menu to usa i.e 3.2u

first of all nothing was working i was scared to death then i updated my wiikey to 1.9s USA and configured it (override region ON ) and tada all my wii games works

i am writing this 2 keep all u posted and hopefully i can help those with wiikey japanese consoles 4.0j installed who want to change the region and langauge
