UK retailers are slashing the price of Xbox 360 storage devices. Most noticeably, Argos has cut the price of the 120 GB HDD to just £67.99 instead of £87.99.

t’s been revealed today, in a not unprecedented move from the High Street and online retailer, that Argos has slashed the retail price of Xbox 360 storage devices, most notably the Xbox 360’s 120GB Hard-Disk Drive (HDD) accessory. Previously retailing for the already competitive price of £87.99, Argos has today lowered their price to only £67.99.

Welcome to two months ago. Probably realised their online competition was outselling them finally.

I personally think MS should have an official upgrade program and sell the 60GB/120GB for <£40 if they want all the 20GB owners to upgrade and buy more stuff.
