version 2.0 of umdgen got released today, it has awesome new features...

irst and foremost today... Happy Holidays to our visitors from Team UMDGen.
Today we have, as our gift to you, the much-anticipated UMDGen v2.00 utility!
If you head over to the UTiLiTiES page, you can get the latest revision now. =]

In addition to the numerous new features detailed in our previous news updates,
we have also included in UMDGen v2.00 support for PSP UMD Movie Images and a
built-in Firmware Version Detector (see screen capture below for examples of this).
Now end-users can open -> modify -> save their compilations without the need
to extract/drag-in files first, and know which FW version the title requires to run.

unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. everytime i want to create a new iso, the PSP_GAME folder get's added as a 0kb FILE. same thing happens when i'm trying to put folders in already created isos.... :(

does it work for you guys?

hmm, looks like it only adds folders WITHOUT any subfolders... must be a serious bug or something.

Hello, I had the same problem,

Try building your ISo from drive C: (assuming UMD gen is installed on C:)
for example from desktop it works fine...

Bit of a pain, hope it'll be fixed in future release...

i found that it doesn't add folders that don't have that "index files for blabla" bullshit. now i can add folders, but now i get errors about some stupid lba location all the time.... never had any problems with the previous versions, and this one doesn't work at all :(

this is why i stick to vcdrom. umdgen is a great program for it's ease of use, but it's real buggy. some repacked iso dosen't want to load sometimes, but works great when using vcdrom.

hmm, which version of vcdrom do you use? i got 3.71 and it doesn't even support iso files :/

i think i found another bug in umdgen v2.00. the filesize of my iso that i was trying to rip was ~49mb, then i ripped another file and it went up to ~66mb.

hmm, it seems like they rushed the release without testing it properly :(
