This game goes black screen as soon as it starts up, does anyone know why

WiiKey 1.9s
Starfall (for use of removing all updates on discs)

cIOS36 rev10 (am unable to install any cios rev 9,10,11 i get error -1017 :(

I have same setup as you, works fine for me...but I dont use brickblocker...starfall takes care of that...so guessing it might be brickblocker thats causing the problem.

Try running the disc with the latest version of GeckoOS (homebrew channel needed), if your missing a ios, it will inform you whats needed...had a similar issue on a friends wii last night trying to run punchout, which needed ios 53.

tried latest geckoOS no go, forcfe PAL force NTSC nothign works. screen still goes black.???

Game image is fine as others have got the image working fine on a 3.2E wiikey

try enabling dev mode in the config disc, punch out for me didnt work until all the options were enabled so maybe it will help you.

I have exact same set up and same problem. I wonder if it needs a particular WAD file installing.

I loaded my Wiikey configuration disc and couldn't see dev mode as an option unfortunately.

I've managed to resolve this. I used Anytitle Deleter to have a look at what IOS's I have installed on my Wii and realised that I hadn't installed IOS 53 which I had in the wad folder of my SD card but obviously hadn't required until now.

i cant use anytitledeleter on any option i get error 1017?
