Ahhh..Homebrew problems.

Well I have the LU64 ntsc version wii. I have done the twilight hack and got the home brew channel working :). I have used the LU64-fix, works great but, I didnt install bootmii or starfall.. :( (mistake) I updated to version 4 ouch another mistake. Everything works with the up date but, then bad news I installed a bad file and cant remeber what it is... :( Now when i try to do hack uninstaller or anything the screen goes black. and freeze. Well now i cant install twlight hack or bannerbomb anything. If I delete the the homebrew channel it will be gone..:( Whats is the safe way of fixing this...!!!!) Is my wii half bricked. HELP ME... thanks.

1. You cant install bootmii I believe.
2. what file was it? if an IOS or VC game then you can run anytitle deleter.

bootmii wont install through homebrew( no apps just gets a black screen when it boots.) wii remote turns off system freeze have to do hard boot.
I think its an IOS...

Which IOS did you install?

dont know.. I tryed banner bomb it booted it but got that dam black screen.. l but the wii remote stay on this time but black screen. :( should i reformat the wii?

you did put a boot.dol/elf in the root of the card? boot.xxx is just a renamed app.

I put the boot.dol in the root it booted in channels mode told it to install and then blackscreen..

have you tried to install Cios? Maybe the homebrew you try to run requires a vulnerable IOS?

can i do this with homebrew.. homebrew channel boot and then go black.. where can i get Cios for a LU64 running firmware 4.0. a little tut on how to do this..thanks for your help

If I reformat will the homebrew channel stay or need to be reinstall.. then I have to do the lu64 fix.. Is this correct? will it get rid of the Black screen..when i try to boot an app through homebrew..

reformatting will remove the HBC but not necessarily fix your problem...of course this is irrelevant since bannerbomb would work so it would matter...except you loose the ability to try network homebrew.

Just wondering, have you tried using a FAT (not FAT32) /formatted SD card or try reformatting the card and put "fresh" downloads/hacks on it?

I know this may sound stupid, but I dont see why ALL homebrew stops working, even the harmless stuff when a problem with the SD card or have you tried a network stream of the apps?

reformatted sd card fat didnt work black screen after banner bomb boot. but wiiremotes stay in snyc.. reformatted in fat32 same effect... reformat will well didnt work either... hummm will try a different sd card.. open for ideas

ok bannerbomb boots then black screen.. :( i have remove hbc, even gone to reformat.. tryied different sd cards any idea.. wonder if i can do it off a thumb drive.. maybe driver fail.. any ideas how to get the black screen gone.. ahhhhh.

I dont see any way to foix this atm, the problem is that all your homebrew isnt working and the only possible fix is with homebrew.

Either wait for the ssbb hack or send it to nintendo.

Btw does wad manager work? Since the latest version allows for you to select any ios to run with.
