Wii Solderless Drive Key

Hi, I just installed my Wii Drive Key. I went to the configuration menu and
DriveKey is ON, Region Override is On, Update Blocker is Import, Wii Disc Autoboot is OFF, and Full GC Region Free is ON
But when i put in a backup cd, it says "An error has occurred. Press the Eject button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting."

I was told this happens when an ISO is patched and that I shouldn't use patched ISOs. Is there a way for me to fix this and be able to use patched ISOs with my drive key?

I have same issue. Same setting on my wii.

bought in USA.

I bought two drivekeys, both of them are not working with Back up CDs which is working on D2SUN mod chip. I'd better buy d2sun mod chip.

does anyone know how to avoid this error??

someone told that toya dvd is working fine.

its that softmod which uses IOS16 to play backups without a drive chip. dont know all the details though since I dont use it.
