I realize the wiikey2 (yellow) only requires 5/6 wires to install.

But what if you soldered all 9 points to the wiiclip with a yellow sticker. Would this cause any errors or problems on a D2E?

Please don't reply with "just use 6 wires"... I want to know what would happen with a yellow sticker + 9 wires (on a wiiclip) + D2E

my wiiclip had all wire soldered to the wiikey and I have had no problems.

if you have a wiikey2 yellow sticker then just solder the A|B|C|G|GND|3V

soldering D|E|F Causes problems with some drives, they are not needed so dont solder them

the people that soldered to the willclip for me soldered all the points with a yellowsticker (5000 2033). as of now I haven't had single issue.

so just wondering why everything is working fine despite being soldered with all points.

The newer firmware probably just ignores those sections and don't take the extra wires into account in it's logic. You always run the risk that the firmware has a bug in it. After all, they are not responsible when the device is not installed properly. So it's the risk you want to take. The amount of testing with this regard would only be known by the Wiikey team who had developed the firmware.
