Madworld #002 error

Hi all. Trying to boot madworld with no success. I'm running 3.3E with all the neccessary ios installed and still cannot get it working. My Wii is hard modded using the winja deluxe. I've tried booting the game using gecko os, both versions (including the one with the 002 fix). I've tried two versions of the game...one which has been brickblocked and frii'd, the other wich hasn't been messed with. When i try forcing PAL60 in gecko, i get an error message saying "exeption (isi) occured". Don't know where to go from here. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.

need to upgrade ur cios to rev 8. that will solve ur issue

I'm not on the oct update cus i can still install wads......i will try what you guys are suggesting and will let you know. Thanks for helping everyone!!:)

Ive got the old winja, and i used the geckoos 1.7b for cios. That has a dol that you put on the mem card and the wad file the you put in the wad folder. Load it from wad manger 1.3. I then put all the new ios 38 53 and 55 in the wad folder, and loaded all of them.....After all that it worked for me.

OK...so, i've now tried everything...and i'm still not getting anywhere with this iso. Still getting the same error message. I'm now even having trouble removing the update from the iso. I'm using brickblocker 1.3r2 and Wiu1.0. Neither of these will remove the update from the iso. Are these programmes used for a specific region? I've got a pal 3.3e wii trying to run the ntsc version of the iso.

Get Trucha with correct registry keys, add them to windows registry.

Open the madworld iso using Custom Keyset 2 in Trucha, and in second partition go hunt down MAIN.DOL and extract it. DONT CLOSE THE PROGRAM, LEAVE IT OPEN.

Get Generic Wii Patcher 1.2 by b@iLLi and open the extracted MAIN.DOL from Madworld ISO.

Click on 001-Fix, hit search, it should say Byte pattern found etc etc, then fix it.

Click on 002-Fix, hit search, it should say Byte pattern found etc etc, then fix it.

Save the MAIN.DOL.

Now go back to Trucha, right click on MAIN.DOL and hit REPLACE. Replace it with the newly saved MAIN.DOL (the one just edited in GWP).

Right click on Second Partition and hit Trucha Sign it!. Do the same for the first partition.

Done. Burn the game at 4x on any dvd you like, ive used Astroburn for the process.

The whole guide takes like 4 minutes lol.

BTW: Pal wii 3.2e with D2ckey, Madworld Usa, GeckoOS 0.7, cIOSrev8 installed.

Like a said, these are from an NTSC version of the game. Could i manually install these through the wad manager?

Also, tried using trucha programme its giving me an error decrypting data message. I'm using the custom keyset option 2.

Try using WP's toy R5, worked for me and there is an option to remove 002 error.

I've got it in a rar file, that I can send you, just add it as an app in your bootloader and fire it up, I had the NTSC version and had to force video mode to PAL480i to get the video to show correctly.

Use wad manager to install ios38, ios53, ios55.

Problem solved.

Or just use Gecko 002 fix if you have 3.3 oct 23 and above. since you can't install wads.

Ive searched everywhere and cant find ios 38, 53 & 55 for a PAL console. Can someone pm me a link??

why dont you try Waninkoko's USB/SD Loader 1.4. You can then run madworld from the SD card. I use this and got madworld working (but the blood was also black and white). You might have better luck.


PS. I use a HDD for my games, I,ve not tried running them from a SD card yet.
