Hello everyone,
I got a really weird problem right now with my Wii. I got the WiiKey2 installed back in November and everything was working great. I played a good amount of the Wii for a month after the install and did not touch the Wii again until now. I say the Wii wasn't in use for about 3 months.
So this is the problem, there is a disc inside the Wii but it does not show up in the disc channel (Disc channel only shows the Wii and NGC game spinning). I think the Wii doesn't know theres a disc inside so it won't even eject the disc. At first, I powered down the Wii and disconnected the power for a few minutes and it seemed to work, I was able to eject the disc. It seemed to solve the problem and I was able to play originals and backups for 2 days. Today when I started a back up game right after the disc channel, it showed some sort of disc read error and went back to the original problem of not knowing a disc is inside. This time powering down the Wii and disconnecting the power cable is not fixing it.
Does anyone know if I can fix this on my own? I really don't want to go back to the moder if I don't need to since he lives a good 30 minutes away from me :/
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
