PRESS RELEASE: VERNON KAY RALLIES XBOX LIVE® FANS FOR HIS FIRST GAME WITH FAME

Radio DJ, TV Host and Xbox aficionado to take on all comers via Xbox LIVE

London, 12th March – Microsoft® today revealed that Vernon Kay, one of the hottest Radio, TV and DJ personalities of the moment, will be recruiting all available Xbox LIVE fans from across the UK for a unique Game with Fame event on Call of Duty: World at War®.

During this “Vernon Kay Presents: Game with Fame”, Vernon will be joined on the night by a very special guest to play alongside him. As well as showing the world his mean skills with a controller in his hands, the Game with Fame is celebrating the upcoming launch of Vernon’s new website (complete with custom Xbox Avatar) www.officialvernonkay.com.

Vernon will be dropping in behind enemy lines on Wednesday March 18th at 7.00pm GMT. To be in with a chance to join Vernon online for this unique event, players simply need to email their details to the address below, also telling Vernon why they want to play with him. Lucky gamers who are successful in applying will be emailed all the details they need to take part in the event.

yeh thats the guy he did it with his wife if i remember correctly... i used to think he was a funny, cool kinda guy, until i saw that ad.

I can't say i've ever heard of him, so if I signed up for this I'd just be playing against some guy. You would think that with all the money MS waste, they could afford to get someone who is actually famous on board. No offence to this guy, but he is hardly what you could even call a household name.

your clearly not from the uk, as he is pretty famous here. i assume this is aimed at the uk gamers because id be really surprized if you had heard of him

I am from the UK, I asked a few friends and the missus, none had heard of him, so i guess he must be one of those "celebrities" thats fame is restricted to a limited audience of people who like whatever he is involved in. I see he is a DJ so i guess thats why i've never heard of him, i gave up on radio one years ago, and don't watch idiot tv (gameshows, big brother, reality shows, soaps, chat shows etc.).

So who is this "Vernon Kay"? Every other game with fame, I at least had some clue who the people were.
