I don't have any sort of modchips or Freeloader, I installed the homebrew channel through the zelda exploit years ago.
Anybody else here have MadWorld?
Does this update disable anything? Is there anything I can do to bypass it?
My Wii is currently version 3.2U.

Ok, I extracted IOS53 and IOS55 from the disk and installed them using WAD Installer 2.0, but the game STILL asks for an update.
Anybody know how to get this game working?

Why don't you just use Brickblocker and remove the update?

use the update manager to scan it to see what update it is if it's new than well....

Brickblocker 1.3R2 works fine on iso backup's of the USA release, without any install's of additional IOS's.

I used brickblocker 1.3RS to take out the update, burned it, and the game shows up in the channel, when I click start, the game just goes to a blank screen and nothing happens. Its a NTSC US game and I have a NTSC console on version 3.3U... any ideas?

Have used Brickblocker on the USA image and all runs perfect on a PAL wii.
What cIOS do you have installed ?

I already said that I don't have a modchip, so I can't use BrickBlocker or any other app that depends on burning a modified copy of the game.
Anyway, seems like installing Preloader got it to work, though I wish preloader had a "boot Wii/GC Disk" command in the front menu.
