is it ok to update to the latest firmware (im on 3.3E in the uk)im running a wiikey and have the homebrew channel. sorry if this is a dumb question but i havent been following the scene for a while.

yes it is as long as your wiikey runs 1.9s and you NEVER plan on using certain apps such as wad manager or gecko OS.

why do you want to upgrade? If it is for newer games just download wads for the IOS and install them using wad manager, for example sonic and the black knight uses IOS 53 and 55 so I downloaded (google) region free versions of the IOS and it works fine.

How do I upgrade to 3.2 as 'm on 3.1e in the UK and cant get madworld or sonic to run. I downloaded both the gecko 002 fix and cios 38,53,55. Madworld wont start at all, just says no codes on sd card and as for sonic, I get the game started then at the beginning I get the "this disc cant be read".
