The latest update from Turn 10 sounds quite encouraging. One of the team noted that right now they are just admiring the game from a visual perspective and over the past few weeks the graphics have really come into their own!

This week, he's at it again and states in his latest pitpass report that progress on Turn 10's next game continues, and that fans are likely to appreciate what they see when the game is unveiled.

Elaborating just a touch, Che points out that he has been "spending quite a lot of time just admiring the game from a visual standpoint", adding that "the past few weeks have seen the graphics really come into its own".

Do people really care? Forza 2 is littering the 5 dollar bin at my local gamestore, this game will probably be there too.

It's only in the bin because all 360 games loose their value for the most part quite quickly. I still see alot of PS3 games (Heavenly Sword) that still retail for full price.

So long as it plays like 2 or better i'll be happy, the gfx are a secondary factor for me. Forza 2 is one of my favorite driving games, makes a refreshing change of pace after playing WipeoutHD, Flatout 2 or GT4.

This might float a lot of people's boats, but personally, i don't care, I hated what GT has become, and i hate what Forza is, I don't care how realistic it is, i want my games to be fun, If i wanted to have a 100% realistic driving experience. I'd pay $25 to get access to the local runway for 2 hours, and drive a real car.

Don't get me wrong, realism is one thing, but there's just too much effort put into sims, alright, flight and sea sims are one thing, but driving, that's just something anyone can do.

It's in the bin because it came with the system at one point. Resale value plummeted because of that. I do recall seeing MGS4 in bargain bins for only $30 just a few weeks after release.

its clearly the opposite in the uk. ps3 game prices plummet fast, whereas 360 games hold there price!

Really....damn I might have to import some games if the price is right. I want Heavenly Sword but I'm not paying $60.00 for an old as game.

It was a bundled game at one point...around here its about $15 same price as Motorstorm for example which was also a bundled game. It was also released as a "platinum hit" title for $19.00 so how did you expect it to retain value? For what its worth Lego Indy/Kung Fu Panda and MGS4 both also bundles are dirt cheap now as well. Thats what happens when the market is flooded with a certain title, doesnt make the game good or bad, just plentiful.

At our current exchange rate all our games are cheaper than the U.S. by a long way. Most new titles are £30 to £35 or less so thats $42 to $49 with all taxes in. I take it heavenly sword didn't get a budget re-release as here its between £12 and £18 so alot less than your $60.

Though the situtauion is the same for all 360 games to with great bargain prices quickly unlike what the user you quoted says but region locks are a pain.

I hope this forza feels a little different to the last as the controls felt towards the on the rails for me and the courses lacked variety a little compared to its rivals. All the tracks felt very flat.

?? I thought both platforms plummet fast, RE5 is not out yet in the UK and the Xbox version is allready cheaper then the ps3 version, HAWX is cheaper on the xbox then on the ps3, same with Tomb Raider Underworlds ... at least last time I checked. So it's more a mixed bag ...

Anyway, good for all gamers :D

I'll have to see some screenshots, for now GT5 is the best looking car game.

I can see your point, reminds me of people who stop at motorway services to have a break from driving, then go to the arcades to play on a driving game :).

My view is tho that I'd rather be driving a high end sports car in a realistic sim, than driving the real thing the same way and then ending up in debt for the rest of my life when i write it off on the first bend :)

Well, there are also people who prefer Gran Tourismo above Mario Kart :)

I still see alot of PS3 games (Heavenly Sword) that still retail for full price. After a quick look on the web, both, Heavenly Sword and Forza 2 are almost equal in price. All games loose value over time, both games are quite old and from the two of them, Forza 2 is older.

Only an idiot would pay full retail price for almost a 2 year old game. All games are sold somewhere at a noticeably higher price. Finding a place that sells some game at the retail price long after the release doesn't prove anything. Maybe that you weren't looking in the right places or you weren't really looking at all.
