usb instead of sd

i have been using my sd card for loading wads and using homebrew etc but i have a slightly larger card (memory wise) that i could plug into my usb stick and use 1 of the usb ports at the back of my , problem is i copied all the files from my sd card and transfered to the other 1 plugged in my usb , started my wii everything is fine goto homebrew channel press start and it wont load it just stays there with the bubbles rising as if it does not pick it up at all ?


so my question is how cani use my usb insteadof the front sd holder to make life a little easier for myself ?

SD card only for the HB Channel at the mo mate.

Nintendo has not enabled the usb ports for anything other than a lan adapter, therefore you cannot use it for storage.
