Infanune-San has suggested that the Xbox 360 is the best way to break into overseas markets. This strategy has arguably brought good success with the likes of Lost Planet experiencing success as a timed Xbox 360 exclusive as well as the exclusive Dead Rising title.
When discussing the virtues of Capcom's overseas policy, Inafune-san suggests that long before Dead Rising and Lost Planet established the model, it was in fact the relatively little-heard of PS2 title Shadow of Rome that became the first title to adopt it.
Elaborating on the overseas policy further, Inafune-san makes his high opinion of the Xbox 360 well-known. Despite the perceived risk of developing for a Western format, Inafune's decision to support the Xbox 360 exclusively with Dead Rising, the timed exclusive of Lost Planet, and added support of PlayStation brands such as Devil May Cry and Resident Evil, ultimately bore significant success.
