View Full Version : Major Nelson confirms Resident Evil 5 Elite 360's are Jaspers

Major Nelson has essentially confirmed that the new Resident Evil themed Xbox 360's are the new Jasper hardware revision. One of the main indications that a system is the Jasper hardware revision is that it comes with a 150W power supply instead of the more power hungry versions. And in his unboxing of the console, the Major did indeed confirm that Resident Evil Xbox 360 has a 150W power supply.

lucky me, i bought two xbox360's in the previous 4 months, one elite and one normal and theyre both falcon. remember the time falsons were IN?:rolleyes: i hate you microsoft.

Can someone enlighten me what is so special about Jasper xbox360. I haven't been following all the hardware revisions of the system.

I think both the gpu, and cpu are now 65nm which should help greatly in preventing any problems... or that's what I remember hearing at least. Anywho's this will probably help sell this bundle, as for me I would rather shoot myself in the foot than buy a red console.

There must be something I'm missing, people buy 2 - 3 of the same console, they buy the same game for 2 different consoles..... at the same time. I really don't get it, but oh well if it makes them happy.

No, seems most of them are talking like it's THEIR consoles/games. In a SFIV thread I was wondering why someone would buy SFIV for the 360 and the ps3....I just hope that they are not doing for the sake of comparing them, that would be just scary.

They could at least made a RE5 art paint on that console.

its like GM selling cars with defective brakes..

want a model with good brakes? purchase a new one..lol

so average a person owns 2 boxes at least..i envy MS, such geniuses in sales ;)

There's a start screen for one of the RE games that shows a zombie more or less from the elbows up looking back.... they put that on a 360 and I'll buy it just for the pure awesomeness.

Well it's not only because they break, but because some have one legal, and one chipped 360.... but there's probably a great deal that just gave up sending their box repeatedly to ms to get it fix, only to have it break again in 2 months, and decided to just buy another one.
