The new GTA IV DLC which is exclusive to Xbox 360 has reportedly set a new one day sales record. However, MS hasn't disclosed exact revenue figures just yet, but at $20 a pop, it must be pretty good.

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned sets first day revenue record for DLC.

Many have been asking what those record numbers are, and they have yet to be released. This is the only information we have for now per Microsoft. At $20 each download though, it seems that they may have an advantage over some of the cheaper details. The full details as we have them are below. I

Lost & Damned is worth the money simply for Billy's voice performance.

whoever did that did a spectacular job.

I guess it must not be too hard to set a 1 day revenue record, since they don't want to release any solid info.

At $20, it certainly wouldn't have to sell as many copies as a $5 or $10 title in order to gain that prestigious title..

Since they're being so coy, my assumption is it just barely set the record, which means--assuming a more average price of around $10 for DLC--it probably sold just over half as many copies as the next big DLC that cost money (remember: revenue...all those free map packs don't even count).

Still, a record is a record.

I Wish PS3 got it.

Also now is the time to ask why people on these forums have LIED to me. Last year, when we all found out the DLC was exclusive and stuff, you guys come here and told us how the DLC is going to be 20 Hours long, and a whole new "City".

Accoding to the folks at the Xbox.com forums, people are beating it in 5 hours and there is not a "whole new city". Oh and LOL at xboxers saving over there GTA4 file.
