Phoenix 1.4 for XBox problem

My bios loader has been working great, until just today (I have had it for only two days now). When I load it, the usual black screen comes up, but it just says "Starting USB" and never goes past that. Please, can somebody help me?

Do you have a dvd kit connected? If so, pull it out.

I am having the same problem. It cannt load boot.cfg

In my Xbox the PBL gives "Error opening file P:\boot.cfg", and stops.
Anyone had the same problem?

Btw, the xboxrom.bin is 256KB or 1MB in size?

Use pbl 1.3 instead of 1.3.5i. It worked for me, the problem that I have now is that I can't run anything from CD/DVD.

Use a BFM bios and use xbtool (debug mode) to ensure your bios boots 'default.xbe' from the dvd drive as a default, I've seem some weird bioes out there!
