umm its based on minesweeper but has several new modes (including one where the goal is actually to find the mines rather than avoid them) of play plus four player multiplayer its really more of combo of minesweeper and battleship...kinda sound entertaining for what I normally spend an a large coffee. Dont like it dont spend your 5 dollars on it, geez what a lame thing to ***** about. How many freakin versions of tetris or bejeweled or solitaire have been released...some people still tend to buy them.

By the way, the demo SUCKS. Even though it may suck to pay for a normally free minesweeper game, my girlfriend and I would have considered buying this game if it was at least decent considering it has an online multiplayer mode (we currently live 2 hours apart and we spend some weeknights playing on XBL together). However, you only like get 4 or 8 turns (depending on the mode). FOUR!!!! Then it just shuts off and tells you to buy the damn thing. Absolutely pathetic.

So they just cut off the few potential customers with a terrible demo. Hope this thing never sells, ever... unless they update with a better demo.

Yea the demo kinda sucks, but I guess if they let us play a full game no one would buy it. At $5 i may get it anyway looks like a good timewaster when chatting with family over live.

Exactly the problem. If there weren't so many idiots buying the over priced stuff, Microsoft might consider changing the prices a little bit.

In many ways I agree with you. However I think what really should make the game a "premium" version of minesweeper that actually costs $5 is the expanded modes, multiplayer and content. But how can you determine if the game is playable at all if you can only play for 30 seconds? Especially when most people are going to have to get over the fact that they are using a controller and not a mouse, they should have given us more time to decide that.

I was hoping to find another halfway decent casual online game to get my girlfriend more into XBL but this just doesn't cut it. It's a shame because she loves minesweeper. Oh well, back to UNO we go!
