colours goes to one side

when im using colours and let go of the pen on screen touch the line im drawing goes of to right handside every other game seems to be fine tried everything and it only seems to be this homebrew app that does this , ive tried deleting and puttingit back onagain and still the same ?

any 1 got any ideas ?

no one had this problem then ? i find it very weird also that it does this buit was hoping someone may be able to share or help there experience with this, i do hope one of you guys can help , :-) cheers

Which version of Colours! (http://www.ds-xtra.com/Colors!) are you running? v1.06h is the latest...or try one of the earlier ones in case you have found a bug.

what kind of bug could i have found ? it really is a strange 1 ? the same version works on my boys ds but not my girls ? both using the same equipment i.e. cyclodsevo and 4gb cards

Ahh right, if it works ok on other DSs then that rules out the program has being at fault....sounds that the touch screen on your girl's DS has in accuracies in it. Perhaps it's taken a bit of a knock that is not evident in games (you could use something like CheckNDS (http://www.ds-xtra.com/CheckNDS) to check the touch screen or this drawing app Phidias (http://www.ds-xtra.com/Phidias) as a test). In a way Colors! is quite a complex piece of software, there are very few Homebrew apps (or even commercial games) that have to use the same level of pressure sensitivity.

All in all it's not looking good for the DS, seems that the touchpad could have the problem but if only one app doesn't work it's not worth trying to replace the screen IMHO.

cheers mate , you have confirmed what i already was thinking , i have tried your methods and they have helped , the nds checker is great but did`nt really help me with what i needed but no doubt in the future i will use it thx for the reply on that 1 , i did try the drawing 1 philios and that seemed ok so i thik that the screen somewhere is knackered but it works with 99.9% of apps 'n' games so no need to rush and get a new 1 , thx v much for your info , it has helped alot , cheers :-)
