how to rip prince of persia for 1GB ms

the way to do this is first delete the update folder then go into usrdir,then open data folder and delete the two filler files and rebuild with umdgen.now the iso will be 834MB and run with umdemulator and system with devhook after. i've only played for about twenty minutes but have had no problems with the game as well as saving..........sudeki300 :D

It doesn´t work for me...
i did exactly what sudeki300 said but it crashes while the loading picture is shown. (after a few seconds)
what did i do wrong? I tried every option in umd emu... :(

some of the movies can be removed too for a 772MB file size, along with the languages. Now for someone to figure out an extractor for even better size (hopefully)

this game is like Sand's Of Time know the story... i rip all video and now work fine in 663MB with umdemulator/system & devhook

I have did everything but when i want to load it with umd emulator and then dev hook , the game hangs on Loading then after a few seconds the system shuts down.

i ripped from my umd, PoP Revelations.......it's my first rip and i'm not sure that i done it well.....i obtained a 1.656.256kb iso......but i saw on another website (psprl.it) that the correct iso size is: 1,674MB

it's true? my 1,656mb iso is incomplete?

They are dummy files used to make the game fill up the umd. They do nothing

i removed all of the files in the videos folder except the boss videos and the menuvids and loading screen videos.

then i used this "Experimental Plugin Ext Reb Tool" is the program to extract and reindex the .big file (found on http://www.alucard.cc/). You need to use the "POP2_soundps2 plugin" - that is for ps2, but is the same for psp. In this program you will select the "big" file and the "table" file (.fat). Extract the "LBA", extract file ".BIG", use "relinker option" to edit the files you want on new big file (i prefer jump this and edit the created "SOUNDPSP.FAT-LBA.TXT", deleting the lines with the files i don't want). Rebuild file, rebuild lba, and the big files become smaller. :) to open the .big sound file and remove all of the non-english sound folders.
in the end i got a working pop with all the in game movies and sound. :)

Hi, i seperated the iso and rebuilt it after deleting the necessary files and although the game plays fine, the video at the start and subsequent videos play really slow with broken sound? any ideas or should i just stop winging like a girl, ignore the vids and just play the game! :D

thats the way the videos are, if you want to remove the videos then use the 512 ms ripkit on this forum.

I want to rip the music out of pop the sands of time, and i stumbled across this page when searching for something to open .big files.
