Hi, is there a way to ripdown pop revelations son that can fit in a 512mb ms and to remove language files (i need only english)

The game is 1.6 GB's unripped from direct rip of UMD, I have not had chance to rip down as I had to backup in 800 MB's chuncks so far.

But assuming alot of movies which can be dummied. As for languages I will have to look for proper files and those should be easily dummied to 1 kb files.

the way to do tis is extract the umd data and psp_game folder, go into usrdir and go into data folder. in this folder there are two files that are named "filler.b1 and filler.b2" just delete these two files and rebuild with umdgen,the iso is 835MB and works with umdemulator on system menu and devhook.

Until the *.bf and *.big files are extracted, garbage cleaned and rebuilt its not going on a 512MB stick. The *.BF file alone is 465MB, the *.big file is 178MB - both are necessary for gameplay from what I can tell.

Somebody (in another site) rip the SOUNDPSP.BIG file and extract the english sound ( - 100MB), extract some Gallery Videos and made a great rip. But i don't know how he/she extract the BIG file. Somebody knows how to do that??

nice one just ripped this down to 854 getting rid of the update folder and both filler files and then the other languages on the menu

works using umd emu 0.8 :D

"Experimental Plugin Ext Reb Tool" is the program to extract and reindex the .big file (found on http://www.alucard.cc/). You need to use the "POP2_soundps2 plugin" - that is for ps2, but is the same for psp. In this program you will select the "big" file and the "table" file (.fat). Extract the "LBA", extract file ".BIG", use "relinker option" to edit the files you want on new big file (i prefer jump this and edit the created "SOUNDPSP.FAT-LBA.TXT", deleting the lines with the files i don't want). Rebuild file, rebuild lba, and the big files become smaller. :)

Had you find the program?? After extraction, you will see a lot of pastes (were your ".big" files is) with the languages (spanish, english, etc). Edit the "SOUNDPSP.FAT-LBA.TXT" and removes these pastes. Now rebuild those files

this game is like Sand's Of Time know the story... i rip all video, edit SOUNDPSP.BIG dummyng language inside, and because i'm italian change the ENG file with the ITALIAN file :D, now work fine in 550MB with umdemulator/system & devhook

yes, when you right click on a file, there are two kind of space used (space and space on the disc) and they are different even if is the same file!

i found a prince of persia warrior within .big extractor for pc, i just used that and extracted the sound file and dummied the non english languages. So now my folder is 88mb isntead of 169mb.

now if i can only figure out how to rebuild the .big file.

i have a question:this game is in italian too?because my iso contain a dir named ita but the menu in game can select only in french,spanish and english and not in italian. what i can do?sorry about my english but i'm italian....
