I have had this HDD for a long time with my Flip Topped PS2...and I used to have to just open my Computer take out the jumper and unhook one of my HDDs in my computer and plug in the IDE to this Sony HDD for my PS2 to get it to work...
I got a little tired of doing it so I decided to purchase a USB 2.0 to IDE Cable to plug in my Sony PS2 HDD 40GB to add and delete games.
I plugged in the USB 2.0 into my Computer and plugged it into the Sony HDD 40GB and it made the sound that it connected and my WIN XP computer installed the driver on its own and told me my Hardware was ready to use...
I opened WinHiip and It can't find my drive...I tried moving the Jumper and also taking the jumper completely off but no luck still I open Win Hiip and get this picture...
Is there any way I could get this to work?? I don't want to have to keep opening up my Computer to attach my PS2 Hard Drive because it is such a pain...My Computer insides are all very tight so it is hard to unplug and plug in the IDE cable which is why I bought this Deluxe USB 2.0 to IDE Cable.
