how do i back up ds saves using max media dock or r4

i know i used to be able to backup official rom saves using my max media dock but i dont remember what the program was can anyone help me

not entirely sure if this works with the r4 but rudolphs wifi tools or backup tool should enable you to create backups of the saves on your original carts, if you have a 3in1 use backup tools as wifi tools is as slow as hell.

as for the mmd, sorry i've never even seen one.

If the roms are stored on the MMD then they are saved under GAMENAME.SAV

so i used that program but all the official saves in it come out as 256 instead of 512 bytes and are incompatible with my r4
