Wiikey 1.9g
Firmware 3.4u
HBC 1.0.1
I don't know why.. but my wii stops to read the SD Card. First I thought it was the HBC problema, because my HBC app don't load.
The same sd card that I was using.. so it is not the sd card problem ( Sandisk 2GB ).
Even the Photo channel says that the SD card canīt be read. I tried another 2GB with same problem.
No gamecube memory cards are in the slots and tests the sd card formating FAT and FAT32.
I look around and didn't find a solution for that....
Just after the upgrade to the 3.4 this cards works fine... I upgrade the HBC 1.0.1 and this happend ... I don't know if it is due the 3.4U upgrade or the HBC upgrade.....
thanks

The 3.4U firmware nuked .Wad installs and all types of other things. You might have to reinstall the Twilight Hack and downgrade to the 3.2U firmware.
Why did you upgrade to the 3.4? If it's for Animal Crossing, install IOS38, 53, and 55. Afterwards, install the cIOS37.

Yes, I think I have to downgrade, but now... I can't get any SD card working, even in the photo channel, it is weird..[/QUOTE]
I will look for a way to do that using DVD instead of the SD wad install.

I thought ACCF needs it. now I am paying for this mistake. But I didn't see others guys with this problem.

I have same problem and in my case system menu version is 3.2u. My wii is softmodded and I have homebrew installed (Where I live, I can't buy a genuine wii).
I was using a 2GB sandisk and it worked perfectly. It suddenly stopped working and after that, I haven't been able to make wi recognize any SD.
I don't know. Could be a hardware problem? Is it some form of brick? (I installed a few wiiware games by wad manager and this happened afterwards).
I am totally confused about it. Everything is working fine, but it simply doesn't read SD cards. I am beginning to search for other ways to run my games. Is there a way to make an ISO that runs neogamma R7? Backup launcher .3 is ok, but it still can't run madworld or some other games. I can run wad manager from dvd, but SD card can't be read and it can't read usb neither. Can I buy a GC memory card and fill it with right applications and run them through homebrew or wad manager?

Hi,
I still have the problem and I gave up. I tried everthing you can imagine.
I formatted my system, sent my wii to a company to try to fix it... and they didn't find a hardware issue.
What can I say? it was very weird because it stops to read just after a system update to 3.4
Without SD card I can't run any homebrew.. the first thing I thought it was a big n punishment.
I think I have two options .. first is buy a usb or sd gecko to run homebrew the second is buy a new wii.
I really are very upset because I would like to load my isos from a external HD... this is very bummer...
If you find a way to fix it.. please tell me.
PS.: I never tried a SDHC .. I have at least 5 SD cards, good brands that stop to work.
