Is there a program to block an update and play a game region free at the same time, because I want Tasunko vs Capcom and Fatal Frame...

I believe starfall can do both.
Today I installed starfall (after downgrading to 3.2u) to block the update on the disc.
I own rockband and wanted to play it and when i inserted the disc, it wanted to update.
So i installed starfall and blocked the update.
I saw something in there about the region free game.
So give it a shot.
BTW, you will need homebrew channel

Is not hard to run regionfrii and brickblocker on an iso compare to setup twilight hack and keep up/downgrade your firm ware. The only excuse you can have is laziness...

no no I just dont want to take that much time to do those things...Im not much of a tech person so it'll take me longer to figure out what to do and whats wrong than to actually work the things. Also I dont want to waste discs and Im pretty sure that the isos I burn wont load onto my wii and the twilight hack will be a no-go since I dont have the game itself

i hope you have hardware mod then and patching iso is so simple as long as you have the programs which aren't hard to get/find:rolleyes:

I downgraded from a 3.4u to a 3.2u, so it should be fine
Plus, my wii is new (I just got it last week)

yep, it is safe (from a trusted source such as Wanikono)

you need the Twilight hack to install the HBC first... there are plenty of tuts and vids out there on it, come back when you finish installing it.

he is talking about patched IOSs not ISOs, completely different things!

wow original poster, do some research and you can easily play different region games.

all of us learned this info the same way, just read a few tutorials.

using regionfrii and brickblocker on an iso file is very easy and only takes 5 minutes to use both processes.

I have done it on several games and had no problems playing them at all. it's perfectly safe and easy too.

The best thing would be to read this this (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/AnyRegion_Changer) Wiki page

It says that it installs the 3.2 FW, so just choose your own region and downgrade!

So, even after running the twilight hack, installing the homebrew chanel and using a boot app, I wont be able to play TvC? I don't get this thread, nor much else in this forum, don't know why but PSP hacking is so much easier to understand...

Perhaps the game dont work on soft mod. I have the game and work fine with wiikey and so as other games. PSP is a handheld Wii is a console and maybe you shouldn't be a cheap a$$ and go with hard mod:D

Er, thanks, I guess...

According to NCSX, the game (Tatsunoko vs Capcom) does not force an update, can anyone confirm this?

Assuming that is true, would Gecko OS or HBC's loader be sufficiant to do the job?
