On 2.2U and seeing a black screen!

I'm on 2.2U fw and I did the twilight hack using wad manager 1.3, and everything installed fine;however, when I tried to launch the internet thing I only saw a black screen, and I already set up my wifi connection. In addition, I already tried to reinstall and got nothing. What should I do next? Should I connect to the Wii store and update to 3.4? Or should I try a different installer? And try again.

EDIT:I never been online with the Wii and don't play much games so that's why it's on that fw. Also, I don't see a HBC I only see the internet thing that Wad installer installed. I don't know if that could be the HBC, but it definitely doesn't say homebrew channel. And the internet thing isn't working anyway.

try running Super Mario Galaxy off of a disc. That'll bring you up to the 3.2 update.

The 3.3 and 3.4 updates block .WAD installs, making the Twilight Hack rather useless. You'll have to downgrade the firmware to the 3.2 eventually.

perform the upgrade. OR you may be able to find a 3.2 wad somewhere.

Thanks for the help guys, but I fixed the problem. I didn't have those games, so I just did the official Wii update and then I downgraded to 3.2. After I did that, the problem was solved.
