XCM to release cross battle adapter - use a wired Xbox 360 controller on PS3

XCMLive has informed us that they are set to release the Cross Battle adapter - this will allow you to use a wired Xbox 360 controller on the PS3, it also features a built in rapid fire function and is fully plug and play.

Not bad, I would buy one. Shooters are so much better with a 360 controller.

I prefer DS3 personally, but this could be good for my 360 friends when they come over. Sadly it's XCM, meaning it'll be between 60-100 dollars. It'd make more sense to get the 3rd party 360 clone controllers ($35 here in canada) and then I'd have an extra controller to boot.

Some PC USB contollers work on PS3. I think mainly the plug and play type, Logitech seem to have a decent compatability.

The SEGA Saturn controllers released for PC work great on PS3!

(six buttons great for street fighter HD! dpad sucks a bit though :D)

yeah i guess this is possible as they don't really need to worry about the accelerometers working.

now we can all listen to people play FPS without hearing the joysticks clapping back to home position on the ps3 controller!

every time i play lbp, i sometimes hit the O button and bring up the sackboy menu, sucks in the middle of some action. i would really like to use the 360 controller on my ps3, the 360 controller is far more comfortable.
