Ben Heck has posted up a new version of his Xbox 360 laptop which differs from the old one in a few ways. What's so different? A removable standard hard drive, both memory card slots accessible, no keyboard, simplified layout of ports and buttons, and an internal WiFi.

where the keyboard once was, he should have included a arcade joystick setup. now that would have been rockin. i'm not a big arcade joystick lover, but at least it'd have shown innovation. now, the next guy to respond to me saying "well why don't you make one"...my rebuttal to you would be the same, i don't want a big ass xbox360 laptop. nothing like 14 lbs of rrod to piss you off. i have no problem hacking and soldering the crap out of anything but just a idea for his next endeavor is all i'm saying.

Sure, but the joysticks would prevent the monoitor from folding down

From the looks of it the keypad area is covered with vents, this thing probably gets pretty hot.

If ventilation isn't an issue and the keyboard is unnecessary, then maybe there should be a shallow well that could stow two games side by side

I didn't know that you could write in codes with a USB keyboard.
Thanks though, I do now.
And this looks pretty good although I bet it will cost a lot.

Not if you used a metal shafted joystick that screwed into a metal base. I'm sure for a guy with talents like his making these laptops making an arcade joystick into the base would be a breeze for him.

These laptop 360s always amaze me. The ability to take a normal size console and put in into a beefed up laptop is an awesome transformation. And I agree, most pop out a laptop to watch a DVD or play Solitaire on the plane. How about some 360 gaming instead!!! Now where to find 7k to have one made.... Any donations?? :p
