Funcom recently confirmed staffing cuts last week as well as new positions opening in the organization as part of their ongoing cost based efficiency and performance initiatives. The Product manager for 'Age of Conan' was recently asked what effect the layoffs will have on the game. "Our aim is for this to not affect development of ‘Age of Conan,’ or any of our other games, at all. We are sticking firmly to our plans. The Xbox 360 version of the game is still in production, but as before we are not committing to any specific dates. I wish I could give you more information, but I can’t at the time being." he replied.

Translation: This game will either be vaporware or will end up being a 2/10 game that hits the bargain bin 3 weeks after release.

Looks like they're leaking money fast! I really can't see them making this float Is there any relatively bug-free raiding? What happened to siege battles, any actual end-game etc etc. And yes I played in the closed beta, have the collector's edition and purchased 3 months gametime, which is on hold, still got a few weeks there, but can't see myself going back.
Gotta agree with previous poster. This prob won't go anywhere...
