One if my most favored/remembered games of the N64/PS1 era.
Already played through and beaten it on my 360 through Pre-Ordering Nuts and Bolts.
It suffers from some lag through emulation when dealing with water, but it is still very enjoyable.

I didn't get mine from pre-order. Snagged it with the d/l link before Microsoft adjusted it to 99,999 MP.

For your lag (that sh1t sucked too; practically unplayable), adjust your video settings to SD on the 360 and it should fix it. That's what fixed it for me anyway.

Arguably one of the best 3d platformers ever.

Funny how Sony properties are always hyped as better than so and so titles.

Remember Ape Escape? Sonys answer to Mario 64? Hyped and loved by the sony fanboys. However, it doesnt have the staying power high quality nintendo titles did.

Keep that in mind about which titles will be remembered this generation.

I loved this game and may buy the XBOX Live Arcade version even though I have the emulator.

Actually, it's not emulated. They ported the game. Redid the background music, supposedly slightly enhanced some of the textures, made the ice key possible to get, etc.

The compiled n64 rom would have contained (c) nintendo libs, so there really was only one option.

I haven't played it. Maybe the water is poorly coded anyway.
