Ben Heck shows us his new PS360 controller

Ben Heck has posted up a brand new controller modification he has performed - the PS360 controller. Its similar to his older models but unique as it uses the Dual Shock 3 for the rumble function and also has the original Playstation D-pad.

if u want one it says to email him. on his website it says

I'm not too sure about this. It looks kind of ugly.
I doubt I'd buy it. It's just basically a merge of the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX360 Controllers.

You know those chicks who are beautiful but shy of perfection due to one facial flaw? You know the kind that gets plastic surgery done to correct that flaw. Like a slightly awkward nose. They end up getting a perfect nose but it just doesn't fir their face and they end up looking weird. Instead of looking better they loose that certain something that made them attractive in the first place.

This is one of those things. There is a reason the ps3 and 260 controllers are the way they are. If the wii controller offers a different experience then so do the ps3 and xbox360 controllers. In fact try playing an fps on one console and then on the other. Somehow the experience ends up being....DIFFERENT.

Anyhow this controller is ridiculous and i am not exactly falling over myself to get it.

Would never pay him to make one, but if that exact style came out i'd pay for it in a shot. The 360 pad is great for gaming but i use my Ps3 more than my 360 and boy i can tell the difference. The ps3 joypad is too small and the rear triggers are retarded

i'd love to play my fps on my ps3 with a 360 controller. the 360 controller, to me, is a perfect fit and is very comfortable (except for that crappy d-pad).

i have a few extra ps3 and 360 controllers, i think i'll build one myself.

You are kidding right ? No diagonals...

Just put an xbox (Type S controller) D-Pad into a 360 controller if you want to improve the feel of the d-pad, then swap the analog sticks in it to make the colors match ;)

Depends what game your playing.
The best pad, without exception, for street fighter and MK is the snes pad. That had no diagonals.
