Square Enix announce three new Final Fantasy XI expansions

Square Enix has announced three new Final Fantasy XI expansion scenarios. The first will arrive in Japan during Spring 2009 with the other two to follow. The downloads are expected to cast around 1,000 yen ($10). <i>The three scenarios are titled, in Japanese, Ishi no Miru Yume, Senritsu! Mog Matsuri no Yoru, and Shantotto no Inbou. Each scenario tells a complete story, and all three were headed up by scenario writer Masato Kato. FFXI fans will recognize Kato from his work on the Rise of the Zilart expansion. More recently, he supervised the DS remake of Chrono Trigger. While not lasting as long as a full expansion pack, Square Enix expects players to clear each scenario in one or two months. </i>

i guess so. i have a friend on my live buddylist,he still plays this crap. im like "dude,lets play some gears2 co-op campaign for the achieves,hes like nah i'll pass im on FFXI" im like geez man,get off that POS game.:p

I am still playing this game swell, and I love it.
I play it on my PC, and my gf plays it on 360, and its no crap, dit you even play it for long time? If you don't like the MMORPG games don't talk about them like you know all.
I love Gears of War 2, <3 Horde, really fun to do whit my friends.
Co-Op campaign finished on Hardcore and Insane.
But don't compare a MMORGP whit a Shooter.

dude let me apologize.sorry.but i wrote it out wrong. when i said to him to turn that POS crap off,im just ribbing HIM. i never played it,but MMORPG isnt my thing.i wasnt comparing MMORPG with a shooter.thats just stupid. i was just stating that i needed my achieves in gears2(which he said he would help me)but hes just always on this damn FFXI.so i just mess with him on it.if this is the case then, send me an invite, and help me finish it on co-op for the achieves.that is,unless you going to be playing FFXI also.:p

Meh, I used to play FFXI. Had a Mithra 75/36 SAM/WAR. Was in the top linkshell on my server too at the time, AoV (Age of Victory). But after WoW came out FFXI seemed so boring.

FFXI is not useless for those that love it, takes time to become something ore someone in the game, and bi for the real fun begins, you Can do so many things that it will keep you buzzy for long time. And this is not only for 360 this is for PC also, get your info before you say anything.

I played FFXI again a few months back... there is no one playing at lower levels which makes it incredibly difficult to level up.

there is something new cald level sync, it makes higher lvl to same lvl as lower lvl so you and party whit friends that are high levels, and keep there high lvl gear also whit few thing changed in them (shortly sad). SE trying allot to help the lower lvl get to higher lvl more easy.
