Today is the Xbox 360's third birthday! The console was launched on November 22nd 2005 in North America and has gone on to sell over 22 million units worldwide. The bad news is that those with launch consoles will see their warranties end today.

For the love of god will you give the NXE RROD fucking myth a rest

If after 3 years my 360 decided to pack in then ill simply go out and buy a new one given that the price of the Arcade console is just over £100. Add to that a 3 year warranty then quite frankly i think i would be more than happy with that.

I actually celebrated my 360's 3rd birthday on the 19th with the NXE. I got mine a few days before launch because I won it from Mt. Dew.

I paid for an extended 1 year warranty from Microsoft so I should be covered from RROD for another year. I haven't had any problems from my 360, but as the earlier posted said, if mine died on me now I wouldn't have a grudge about buying a new one. My first PS1, PS2, and original Xbox never made it past 3 years.
