xeno gc is the best, and easiest to install.

I've got a Duo-Q which is fine. It was easy to install and plays burnt backups/homebrew fine. If you are serious about homebrew some of the other chips would be better since they provide menu's at boot to load dol files from SD or on the chip itself (QOOB Pro).
