I was an avid user of irshell but i kinda went out the psp world for awhile and came back... updated to the most recent firmware 5.00 m33-3 and now am having problems everywhere i look... now that ahman is retired and wont be upgrading irshell, i looked into getting another wifi nethoster... after looking around i found hostcore 1.2.1 *which is suppose to work with 5.00 m33-3 firmware*... i immediately look into the wifi feature... these are a list of things i have done to try to get this to work....

Ive upgraded to the hostcore 1.2.1 becuz of 5.00 m33-3 support
I have entered my IP Address into the config.txt
I have port forwarded an open port which has been matched in the config.txt file. I left the password, # of your connected psp entry connection at "1"
and left everything else the same on the config file...

I have downloaded the new nethost server to be used on my pc... i have created a folder to be known as the root of MUSIC-PHOTO-VIDEO-ISO, ect.

the nethost server does NOT recogonize any input when i press the "note key" and switch it to WIFI on xmb menu. My PSP wifi light blinks, then stays lit.. once it stays lit, i can not do anything on the psp even though its still on.. as if it was froze...

I have no idea what to do now, ive tried everything... i actually deleted all the files i have added today while trying to get this to work, and im starting all over tommorow.. i thoughti should just somethin on here, since this is my last effort to get it to work... so if anyone knows of a complete tutorial on how to install and get the hostcore wifi to work on 5.00 m33-3 or atleast have some ideas of what i could be doin wrong or somethin, i would greatly appreciate any help that is given.

Thank you in Advanced.

Updated:

ok, i got the nethost and hostcore to work together now... its actually recogonizing my files now and not freezing up when i select wifi "by pressing note button"... i am able to stream music, look at photos but one thing that dont work is the game i tried... i havent tried any other game, but when i tried to stream the final fantasy 7 crisis core, it boots up, and then turns black and stays like that.... mean while the wifi button flickers and then stays completely lit while it stays completely black on the screen... i am able to exit the game, so i dont have to hardboot it, so it makes me think its the game messin up... maybe becuz the game file is so large and the wifi lags as it is already? is that preventing this specific game to load right? im gonna try a smaller game tommorow when i get a chance, just thought i should update this since i got it to work sorta... just need help on the game part now... im still having problems with remote joy though, so if you havent checked out my other thread problem, please refer to it and help me out on that one... thanx
