Hey,

I heard of a mod to the PS2-(non slims) which requires action replay max, and a hard drive attached to the PS2.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find a step-by-step tutorial for this process? It might be better than soldering the Duo chip in.

Cheers,

Kyle

If you do a Google search for "ps2 mem card exploit harddrive"

you will find ton of tutorials...

Here is one link...if I can post it...

Better and newer than that. Install fmcb 1.7 and use ESR to load backups or use hddloader.elf on a PS2 hdd.

http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/

Many ways of installing.

Check out sksapps.com for ELF apps, and check the freevast forum at psx-scene.org for more info on fmcb.

Thanks for the help guys. I actually ended up tackling the Duo 3 Ultra mod. It was a huge pain but I'm glad I did it.

Cheers,

Kyle

Cool, a mod chip is always the best way to go if you can.
