You need a transfer kit before you can do anything. Do you have an xport kit, or xsata?

is this a cable with a memory slot on one and and usb on the other (thanks 4 the reply:D)

I believe a transfer kit is not neccessary if you already have a PC with sata support.
I can browse my xbox hdd connecting it to my PC with sata cable.

If so log in and they have loads of tutorials designed for new people to the scene about how to transfer saves over and how to use the tools correctly like xport and xplorer 360.

afaik, they don't accept new users without invitaion.

If you have a hdd and dont want to open the hdd case, you will need xsata or xport to connect your hdd to pc

if you only have a memory unit, you need such transfer kit ike this
