Microsoft has decided not to release Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3 in India in "light of cultural sensitivities in India". The PS3 & PC versions were never scheduled for release in India.

Microsoft constantly endeavors to bring the best games to Indian consumers in sync with their international release. However, in light of cultural sensitivities in India, we have made the business decision to not bring Fallout 3 into the country.

is anyone on max console actually a resident in india? i know they got like billions of people living there but arent they all too busy answering tech support calls for microsoft and dell?

Does anyone know what sensitivities they are? Is it in relation to india and pakistan's slightly-chilly war or is it just the presence of two headed cows?

I went through a phase when AOL was bitching around. The calls always went to India. It was a highly traumatic experience.

I've heard, though, that Bethesda might be pulling the game from the Middle East entirely. Rumor has it that there's a group threatening to make a mod that substitutes Dogmeat's head with that of Mohammad.

Are you kidding? Is that really why?

People are too fuckin sensitive nowadays. If you don't like something, don't bother with it instead of making the situation worse for everyone else. /end rant :D

No need to worry, they already have had the game out ever since it got leaked, a coupleof weeks ago.
