I loved the first 2 games on N64, but I just don't know about this one. I hope they release the demo before it comes out.

well i'll definitely d/l it and will purchase it when once it hits the bargain bin. Banjo & Ninja Gaiden 2 are the only retail games i'll have for 360.

This is going to retail for a respectable $49.99, so if it is good then I will probably purchase it when it comes out.

What about Gears 2 (considering it "won't be coming to PC")
I have an early copy. It is so frickin badass. I didn't even get that much into the first one, but I am really diggin number 2.

well coming from someone that has played the PC version of GeOW (me :D ), all i can say is that GeOW2 falls flat which is why now i hope for a PC version in the next coming months. The acting was not great on Dom's part trying to be all over dramatic. Also Marcus seemed to talk like a female dog that i couldn't stand him on GeOW2. Ben Carmine is the best. He fit the character perfectly but then again he is Anthony Carmine's brother. As for the game, it's only good. i wasn't astounded this time as i was with GeOW1 on both 360 & PC. I was picking at everything that GeOW2 failed on as i was playing through it when it came down to GFX. I am so glad i didn't pre-order and went with Resistance 2. The coop is much better in R2 than Horde. I haven't play GeOW2 online yet but from split screen experience it didn't have that fun factor i wanted. I hope to see a lot of people on R2 than GeOW2.

I'm not meaning to hijack this thread at all, but I gotta address this.

I have yet to see anything in GeOW2 that it has not expanded from the first. Voice acting, ya, Dom's part isn't very great, but at least it is there. There was no emotion in the first one and this adds a little more to the storyline than before. The addition of Tai, Dizzy, and Carmine's brother is great, I love the new characters. I really think they hit the nail on what needed to be accomplished for the second installment. If you don't like it, it shouldn't be a reason to not buy the game.

When it comes to graphics, it has done nothing but raise the bar. I don't know what you "picked up on", but this is hands down the top 3 best graphics I have seen in a game yet (hopefully Killzone 2 fills another one of those 3). The gore is awesome, pure and simple, but it is the environments that are just great. I have only seen one part where you could tell it was a 2D model of a tree and it was right before a loading zone. Besides that I have not noticed anything to rag on GFX wise.

I too look forward to Resistance 2, but it is going to be pretty damn hard to beat what GeOW2 has accomplished (and I'm not going to lie, I only really liked the multiplayer in R1. The story didn't "tickle my fancy" :D).

I gotta get back to work now...
