The folks over at <a href="http://www.eetindia.co.in/ART_8800549190_1800000_NT_309ec04e.HTM" target=_blank">EE Times India</a> have taken the Microsoft's Official Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel apart to find out just how it works. It gets the thumbs up for quality from their experts and they say the wheel is well-crafted. Its a great read if you're a budding electronics engineer or if you just like knowing how stuff works.

I got two of these for free. only missing one of the clamps to hold the wheel down. I have to test them, but the kid who owned them was just going to leave them in his old house. Woo for free crap.

I brought one of these last year for about £70-80 i think, and i have only used it a couple of times lol, theres just not anything thats really draws me to use it.

I don't think any of these type of peripherals are as enjoyable as they were a generation or two ago. The physics of games have come along so much, that standard controllers can still give the total experience. In the old days, people were wanting the arcade experience, the wheel was the bridge. Since consoles have pretty much surpassed arcades, if not contributing to their extinction, major peripherals seem to be a novelty at best.
