Now this is a little weird. As you may know, recently a Konami PR rep told a Japanese part of an investment firm that the company is investigating releasing a 360 version of MGS 4. However, later on the story was very sneakily changed and the story which noted this replaced any references to MGS 4 with references to the Castlevania series and Winning Eleven. A Japanese blog noted "The talk about a 360 version of MGS 4 has somehow completely replaced with talk about Winning Eleven!!!"

The persistent rumor popped up again after Konami PR rep Yoshitaka Arai told the Japanese branch of investment firm Morningstar, "we are investigating releasing a 360 version." But GameCyte picked up that Japanese game blog my game news flash noticed that the story was quietly changed.

Without update or retraction, the original Morningstar story was edited to mention the Winning Eleven (known over here as Pro Evolution Soccer) and Castlevania series in place of Metal Gear Solid 4.

"The talk about a 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4 has somehow completely been replaced with talk about Winning Eleven!!!" exclaimed the Japanese blog.

how is this odd zeus??? b/c you can't just accept to buy a ps3??? wow. you were the first wrong in the first place for not reading the news clearly. Legion had already clarified this.

You are so freakin aggro dude. Take a pill man.

I know it is nothing new for articles to be changed or edited after an initial post, but for an entire reference to be changed from one subject to another is very odd.

Sounds to me like you are just pissed that MGS4 might be losing it's exclusivity.

And would you care to inform us all how Legion clarified this instead of bashing Zeus? Ya know, be productive for once?

All article/rumor crap aside... I read this site and browse the forum casually. And time and time again I manage to see L33T_HaX0rZ's user name and avatar showing up like a sore thumb in countless discussions of any news/rumors that may be even remotely negative to PS3.

Seriously, Don't spit out "fanboy" or "xbots" without first looking at yourself. Let's not even think rational of someone's reply but instead.... instantly reply with "how about you eat some more M$ d1ck". All because of pointing out that you favor Sony. If even me with my low post count can tell that L33T_HaX0rZ is a Sony fanboy, I'm pretty sure everyone on here has come to that conclusion. I guess in your defense, you can say that "xbot's" ignorance are starting to rub off on you.

Just on a side note, I personally already own and beaten MGS4 on PS3. So I personally could care less. At most, I may rent it for 360 to beat the great game once again just for achievements. (That's if, and only if it were ever ported.)

LOL! I was talking with my friend about how funny it would be if they "hinted" MGS4 on the 360 just to mess with their heads (since it is not possible) and it looks like it's working pretty well :p
