Gears of War 2 leaked, being downloaded from torrents right now

According to internet reports, Gears of War 2 is being downloaded by thousands illegally right now. The game has reportedly hit torrents way ahead of its scheduled street date!


Last week we reported that Fallout 3 had been cracked and put on a torrent site but now we have just been informed that Gears of War 2 has also been leaked. With 3 weeks until its official release Gears of War 2 is available people have been steadily downloading the game and playing it on dodgy Xbox’s. If you feel like downloading this torrent remember Christmas is just around the corner and Santa Clause always know where the good little boys and girls live… Oh and remember guys if you buy the game in-store (Not pre-owned) you will receive the Day-One map pack (5 Remake maps from Gears of War) download code which will be available from… Wait for it… Day one. just buy the games your just do yourself in as when they want to make another one they won't want to as it will just get leaked and they'll lose money, you could at least thank them by buying the game as a lot of time and effort and money goes into it. Im going to call this right now. This is a MS "special edition" where the DVD code differs from the retail version. What this basically means is that MS has released 2 games, 1 that they can track the pirates with and then the regular retail version. Easy way for MS to ban all you pirates!

Um...I'm pretty sure most of the releases out there are Retail versions, on the odd occasion they probably get hold of a review copy or somethign but i'm pretty sure most of the time they usually have contact at the distribution outlets or it's an inside job like it appears to be with Fallout 3.

Anyway, I'll probably be buying GoW2, I admit I do download games but 90% of them are crap and I don't play more than an hour, the games I do play i've brought, GTA4, Halo3, Gow, Soul Caliber, Virtua Fighter, Viva Pinata etc

Gears 2 will sell more units then LBP even with that piracy thingie.
It's like every 360 game (same rls on 360 and ps3) sells more units then on PS3.
Just look at the actual NPD charts or vgcharts or what u like.
So piracy is not a real issue on 360 (NOW... dunno how it will effect sales in future). But on the other hand: PS3 can't stay unhackable much more longer.
