Now here's an interesting tactic for anyone thinking to rob their local GameStop (seems quite the norm these days). A would be armed gun-man walked into a store and asked for the least expensive Xbox 360 system before demanding that the store clerk fills a bag with cash too. But why not take the most expensive Xbox 360 if you're going to go through all that trouble and break the law?
According to an incident report from the Greenville city police, the incident happened at about 8:13 p.m. Tuesday at Game Stop, at 101 Verdae Blvd.
An employee at the store told police that a man came in asking for the least expensive XBox 360 gaming system and some games.
The employee said he suggested the game "Army of 2" and the suspect said he would take it.
After the employee placed the items on the counter, he noticed the suspect pointing a gun at him, according to the report.
The suspect told the employee to place the items and all the money in a bag. He then ordered the employee and his co-worker into the back room, according to the report.
