Is there an update out for d2pro? If yes where do I get it from? After dvd update if that's possible?
Only reason i thinking of updating it cos cant play star wars force unleashed it loads on menu but when you go to play it say unable to read.
I had this with Bee Movie game but i reset it the console loaded it again and it played then but music was bit jumpie in the game.
I can play other games like fifa 09 which are new just out on same media without any problems at all, so dont know what problem is?
I use TDK DVD+R and burn at 6x cos that's the lowest I can go with them.
Also tried TDK DVD-R at 6x but they dont read at all, TDK DVD+R reads almost every time.

updates can be found at www.d2pro.com
i think your media is not good, use verbatim or arita dvd+r/dvd-r.
my customers had alot of problems with platinum/philips/tdk discs, but verbatim and arita discs always work.
also remember to burn the discs with imgburn (its free!) and at 8x.

UPDATING YOUR D2PRO9 IS NOT AN OPTION, USE VERBATIM-R AND BURN AT LOWER SPEEDS USING IMGBURN

Ok thanks, I will give them a try. Can you get VERBATIM DVD-R to burn lower than x6? Cos only ones i see in shop go from 6x to 16x. Only ones I see in verbatim that does 4x is dvd - rw (but they dont work well), or dual layer. I use nero to burn discs, how you guys get to burn at 4x, does img burn force the disc to burn at that or something?

The verbatim I have allow me to burn at 4x with imgburn, which is recommended. I think 2.4x is the lowest I can burn at. I am using verbatim as you can print on the ones I have. Tried Maxell (£15 for 100 at play.com) work perfect but aren't printable though!!!

I was using nero to burn discs but that would only let me burn at 6x the lowest I could write with that, so I tried Img Burn 2.4.2.0 and using the same discs TDK DVD+R I could burn at x4 now and it works great now. So I recommend using that.
Thanks

I think if you'd check previous threads, the recommended program is always imgburn and at 2.4x if possible.
Media ranges from Verbatim, TDK, Ritek and even other brand names but you can't trust brands (such as Sony, Memorex, Maxell, etc...) as they don't manufacture their own discs. One batch may work and another won't since they use different manufacturers for every batch of this they make.
