View Full Version : How to add/replace custom tracks in NFS:Most Wanted 510
i believe the songs played in the game are in the PSP_GAME\USRDIR\eatrax folder
they're all .aud files
i was wondering if there is a way to replace these with your own mp3's
thanks

try it out let us know :D
The music in the game reeks btw
actually, i should have done more searching than just posting blaitantly.
anyway, here's what to do.
you'll need two programs: PSP EAC and PSP UMD Gen (http://www.umdgen.com/utilities.html)
To get the songs you want, you'll need to use the PSP EAC program. This will rip out the songs from the CD and will come out as a ".toc" file. just rename them to ".aud"
(side note: so far you can only rip out the music from the CD itself, is there a way to just conver the songs from ".mp3" to ".toc" without burning them onto a CD?)
Backup the ISO on your hard drive and under "PSP_GAME\USRDIR\eatrax", you'll see these .aud files
To replace the songs to your own liking, simply rename them as the same in the eatrax directory.

lol you dont need to do that you can just add the mp3 files you want from hdd and it will convert them to .toc but it wont work with need for speed most wanted.I already tried that and the game stucks at the warning screen with all iso loaders.

ok then give us exact details like did you use vcdromx or umdgen?
If umdgen which version of umdgen? What loader did you use to play the game and what settings if you used umd emu?

in my experience vcdromx always makes good isos.
whereas umdgen doesn't always make good isos.

custom tracks works just fine with this game.
just do as he said up above:
use the EAC to convert your MP3 files to TOC files, then rename them to the EXACT SAME NAME as the original .aud files in the eatrax directory... then recreate your ISO. I have gotten this to work using UMDGEN1.02 and loads fine with Fastloader 0.7.
The only thing i cant figure out is how to change the track titles in the game, but ive given up cos its actually a pretty **** game. I prefer Rivals, and im happy to wait for Juiced PSP.

I think you have to convert your mp3s to .wav first then put the .wavs through the EAC tool to get .toc. I replaced almost all the songs with eurobeat and it works fine for me.
