Is it possible to run a wiikey clone with the new 1.9s update and all games work ok? The reason I ask is because I found a couple wiikey clones I had stuck in a drawer about a year ago which I ordered from Divineo back when they sold chips. Might as well use them if they will work I just didnt want to waste the time installing them if they wont. Thanks for any advice.

you will have to run the base disc first then the config disc if your using a clone ,you can get your files from here (http://wiinewz.com/forums/wiikey/66914-all-wiikey-discs-one-place.html)

I download the 1.9s update onto a dvd r/rw then update. If you have a failiure then the chip may work but it is un-updatable so you will be screwed when one is needed e.g. SSBB.

I was able to run the config 1.2 disc, once it got to the boot disc screen I insert the 1.9s update disc. The update went through exactly like a real wiikey chip but it still wont load any originals or backup games.

That is odd, if its running the config disc then the chips working? You have me stumped with that one. Take the chip out & see if originals work if so its the chip at fault

I finally got it to work. After running the 1.9s update it still would not run originals or backups. So I then ran the 1.4 config disc and now it runs games fine. However it will not read Ridata media and ive never had trouble with those on a real wiikey chip before. No worries though I had some verbatim dvd-r that run perfect.
